He is an experienced technology and business leader specialising in digital transformation, cybersecurity, operational resilience and major programme delivery.
About
Derek has more than 30 years’ experience in senior technology and leadership roles across a range of sectors, including financial services, private equity, policing, retail, utilities and maritime. During his career, he has led complex transformation programmes, technology modernisation and cyber resilience initiatives, with a strong focus on governance, organisational performance and delivering sustainable change.
Derek brings particular experience in technology, digital, data, cybersecurity and organisational transformation to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Board.
