Public consultation meetings
Where the public consultation events for our service delivery review are being held around Scotland.
About the public consultation meetings
Over the next twelve weeks, SFRS will be holding a series of public meetings for communities potentially impacted by the proposals for change.
There will be three types of meetings:
- In-person
You must confirm attendance in advance due to limited capacity at venues - Online
For remote rural and island communities - Drop-in sessions
Informal events where people can receive more information or ask questions
Purpose of public meetings
The in-person and online sessions will start off with a short presentation from a senior SFRS officer, who will outline the change proposal(s) and the reasons for change.
Attendees will work together in small groups to discuss and feedback their views on the option(s) in that area.
There will be a ‘Question and Answer’ section before the end of the meeting.
The in-person and online meetings are likely to attract a lot of interest.
