About the Service Delivery Review
An overview of what this review is and why we need to change
Details on how you can share your views
The Service Delivery Review public consultation will run for 12 weeks, closing on 16 September 2025.
You can share your views through our online surveys.
In addition to this online survey, we will be running a series of public engagement events in community venues close to where affected fire stations are located.
These public consultation meetings will be open to individual members of the public and to representatives of community groups and third sector organisations, such as equalities groups, who want to have their voices heard.
After the public consultation closes, we will take time to analyse and consider the findings, and a report will go to SFRS Board for a final decision at the end of 2025.
If you would like a printed copy of our consultation document, please email SFRS.publicinvolvement@firescotland.gov.uk
By filling out the online survey allows us to incorporate your views, the the views of the local community, into the final decision.
There are a small number of questions which require a response. These are marked "required". Once these have been completed you may submit your response.
Please note you are not required to submit any personal information to complete the survey and these questions are optional. You can read more in our privacy notice.
Before you complete the survey, you might find it useful to read the consultation document, which provides lots of information about the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and why we need to change.
The document, which is in a PDF format, also lists all 23 options for change across Scotland, as well as the pros and cons of each one.
Over the next twelve weeks, SFRS will be holding a series of public meetings for communities potentially impacted by the proposals for change.
There will be a mix of meetings types, which are in-person, online, and drop-in sessions.
