Bonfire Campaign Toolkit 2025

Overview

Bonfire Night is always the busiest night of the year for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

As part of our campaign work this year, we are:

  • urging people to attend organised firework displays where possible and, if not, to be fully aware of key safety information before buying or using fireworks.
  • promoting key prevention messages across our social media channels.
  • asking communities to support us in keeping our staff safe as they work to protect others.

We will routinely sign post people to safety pages on our website, where they can find a full list of organised displays across Scotland and safety guidance, including the Fireworks Code.

How can you help

Please share our safety content which will feature across our social media channels from now till 6 November.

In this toolkit we have provided some social media graphics which you can download.

We have also provided key safety messaging to inform your content. Please tag our official accounts where you can.

Please also direct people to our website, where they can find further information on staying safe this bonfire season.
