Firefighter Control recruits celebrate graduation
A new group of fifteen firefighter control staff recently graduated after completing training program in Cambuslang.

We are proud to welcome a new group of firefighter control staff who have successfully completed their 14-week training.
Fifteen new recruits were formally recognised at a graduation ceremony in Cambuslang recently.
The training programme covered essentials skills including emergency call handling, mobilising appliances, and supporting incident command.
They are now ready to start their new role in their respective Operations Control room in Johnstone, Edinburgh, and Dundee.
Speaking at the ceremony, graduate Keri Henderson shared her experience. She said: “I am very proud because this has been a hard task with lots to learn.”
She is looking forward to starting her new job at Dundee Operations Control.
Instructors have also played a key role in helping the recruits succeed, offering hands-on support and encouragement throughout the course.
Congratulations to all graduates.
