Appliances from Perth attended the incident where two people sadly lost their lives

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to attend a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A9 south of Dunkeld yesterday afternoon (26 February 2015).

The call was received by control in Dundee at 4.17pm and two appliances from Perth attended the scene.

Two males had to be extricated from vehicles by firefighters, who used hydraulic cutting equipment. Sadly the men died following the incident.

The road was closed until 10.20pm and Police Scotland carried out a full road collision investigation into the incident.
