SFRS attended a serious road traffic collision at Abernethy

Appliances from Perth and Newburgh attended the two vehicle collision on Newburgh Road on the border between Perth and Kinross and Fife


Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended a serious two vehicle collision on Newburgh Road, Abernethy yesterday morning (19 February 2015).

Two appliances from Perth and one from Newburgh attended the scene of the collision between a car and a van.

Two casualties were removed from one of the vehicles by paramedics and a third person tragically died following the collision.

Police Scotland were also in attendance and carried out a full road collision investigation into the incident.

Crews received the call at 6.28am and the last appliance left the scene at 11.55am.
