Road traffic collision on A92 in Fife

Crews from Lochgelly and Kirkcaldy attended

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended a road traffic collision in Fife this morning (29 January).

Operations Control Thornton received a call just before 7am to the collision which involved a bus and two cars on the A92 Eastbound between Lochgelly and Kirkcaldy.

Crews were mobilised from Kirkcaldy and Lochgelly fire stations to the scene and firefighters safely removed one male casualty trapped in one of the cars.

He was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment.
