Road traffic collision in Stirling

Crews from Doune, Stirling and Dunblane fire stations attended

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended a two vehicle road traffic collision in Stirling yesterday afternoon (22 December).

Operations Control Maddiston received the call at 4.42pm to the collision which involved a van and a car that had collided on the B822 Thornhill to Kippen Road and had caught alight.

Crews were mobilised from Doune, Stirling and Dunblane fire stations to the scene and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire with a hosereel jet and foam.

One male and one female casualty were removed from the vehicles prior to the arrival of the fire service. They were both taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
