The event follows on from the successful event held in Cupar in May

RtcCut It Out – a road safety initiative by Fife Community Safety Partnership – is set to make an impact in Leven on 5th September.

The interactive event, to be held at Leven Prom West Car Park from 6.30-8.30pm, focuses on the effects of driving behaviours on drivers, passengers and the wider public.

A live demonstration, complete with real vehicles, will show how all emergency services work together on road collisions to save lives and encourage road safety.

Members of the public will also be able to speak to professionals and take part in interactive stalls, including driving and collision simulators.

Stephen Thomson, Station Manager with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, said: “The Leven Cut It Out event follows a successful session in Cupar back in May which attracted over 200 people. The event itself shows what’s really involved in the immediate aftermath of accidents.

“It’s a very engaging event and I would like to invite all drivers, passengers and residents to attend.”
