SFRS called to help driver out of overturned lorry on A90 between Brechin and Forfar

The single vehicle incident happened at the Oathlaw Junction this morning

SFRS APPLIANCE

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to assist following reports that an artic lorry had overturned on the busy A90 at Oathlaw Junction between Forfar and Brechin this morning.

The incident was reported to Control in Dundee at around 7.17am today (25 October 2013).

Two appliances from Forfar, one from Brechin and an appliance and the heavy rescue unit from MacAlpine Road in Dundee were sent to the scene.

Crews used a short extension ladder to get the driver out of the vehicle. The road was closed during the extraction.
