SFRS respond to house fire in Cardenden, Fife

Crews extinguished a fire in the roof space in the Bowhill area


Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire at a row of terraced houses in the Station Road area of Bowhill, Cardenden, Fife.

The incident was reported at around 1.04pm yesterday (22 September 2013).

Two appliances were sent from Lochgelly, one from Dunfermline, two from Kirkcaldy and an aerial platform was also dispatched from Kirkcaldy.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which was located in the roof space of two of the properties.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.
