Firefighters helped three people injured in a two-car collision on Ballater Street in the Southside of Glasgow on Monday night (July 22).
Crews from nearby Polmadie Community Fire Station arrived on scene within two minutes of being sent to the incident, which took place around 7:25pm.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said: "First responders immediately moved to assist all three casualties, including a woman who was trapped in the rear of one of the vehicles.
"Firefighters provided treatment to both vehicles' drivers - a man and a woman - while assisting ambulance paramedics who were assessing the condition of the trapped woman, who had suspected back and neck injuries.
"Police Scotland officers were in attendance and provided traffic control throughout the incident, helping to ensure the safety of firefighters and ambulance crews working at the scene.
"Our personnel work extremely closely with colleagues in the other emergency services to ensure effective rescue operations can take place, and this incident is a clear example of how that strong partnership benefits the public."
