Following publication of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Strategic Plan 2019-22 in October 2019, we reviewed and revised our Local Fire and Rescue Plans.
We invited the public to share their views on our local service provision. This was to make sure our local priorities remained relevant to local needs and risk as well as aligned to our new strategic ambitions.
This survey was opened for 10 weeks and closed on 18 March 2020.
The safety needs of communities across Scotland are changing. To respond to this, we want to evolve the service we provide and at the same time further improve what we do so that the people of Scotland have the best fire and rescue service possible.
We have launched the Long-term Vision Public Consultation for communities across Scotland to offer their views on the future direction of the SFRS and how to make the country an even safer place to live, work and visit.
The Long-Term Vision Consultation ran for six weeks and closed at midnight on Sunday 18 July 2021.
