Wholetime Firefighter Recruitment 2017/18

On 30 November 2017 we will be inviting applications for new wholetime firefighters via the myjobscotland portal. 

Following the 2016 campaign, we prepared a Wholetime Firefighter Recruitment & Selection Process Guidance Note that aims to provide some information and guidance to potential applicants to help them prepare for future campaigns.

Our ‘Requirements to be a Firefighter’ pages provide further detail on what to expect at each stage within the process to assist you in preparing for your application.

In the coming weeks we will be updating and populating this area with essential dates, events information and information with regards to the selection process.

It should however be noted that the timetable may be subject to change at the exigencies of the Service.
