Salary: £15,484 - £16,612 (pro-rata)

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of SDA Support Assistant, based in Inverness. This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will be required to provide effective administrative support to ensure the smooth provision of an administrative function within the Service Delivery area.
Previous experience within an office environment using Microsoft Office Packages (particularly MS Word and Excel) Word Processing experience i.e. typing letters/reports is required.
You should be able to work on your own initiative, possess good communication skills and have the ability to deal with information on a confidential basis and have a clear understanding of how to apply this in the service you provide.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
