Equipment Support Admin Assistant

Salary: £15,484 - £16,612

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Equipment Support Assistant based at SFRS Headquarters, Cambuslang.

With responsibility for the provision of an effective administrative and clerical support to managers within the Asset Resource Centre, applicants require to have previous experience of working within a busy general office environment and have a good working knowledge of MS Office packages. In addition, the role requires a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. Previous experience of dealing with finance issues such as petty cash, payroll and invoicing would be advantageous.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
