Firefighters attended the scene with emergency service partners

A TOTAL of 30 firefighters responded to a dwelling fire in Aberdeen earlier today.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the emergency at Froghall Gardens at

10.30am on Friday, 3 February.

Operations Control immediately mobilised six appliances to the scene as well as three duty officers.

Nearby properties were evacuated as a precaution and one individual was safely removed from the affected property via a ladder with assistance from firefighters.

The casualty did not require medical treatment.

The fire was located and extinguished.

SFRS crews ensured the area was made safe before leaving the scene.
