Incident involving Fishing Vessel at Peterhead Harbour

Fire engines from Peterhead and Maud fire stations with an Incident Support Vehicle from Aberdeen are currently in attendance and this remains an on-going incident.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service received a call last night (19 November) at 10.25pm to reports of a fire on a fishing vessel moored at Peterhead Harbour.
 
Fire engines from Peterhead and Maud fire stations with an Incident Support Vehicle from Aberdeen are currently in attendance and this remains an on-going incident at this time.
 
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using one main jet and two hosereel jets to tackle the fire.
 
There are no reported casualties at this incident.
 
We are continuing to liaise closely with our partners including the Harbour Master and Police Scotland.
 
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
