Road traffic collision in Kirkcaldy

Crews from Kirkcaldy assisted the ambulance service.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended a two car collision on the Forth View, Esplanade, Kirkcaldy this afternoon (27 May).

Appliances from Kirkcaldy fire station were mobilised to the scene by Thornton Operations Control after the collision was reported by the ambulance service at 12.44pm.

Firefighters made the vehicle safe and worked alongside ambulance personnel to safely remove one male casualty from one of the vehicles.

The casualty was placed in the care of paramedics and taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment.
