Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to an incident in Blairgowrie this morning after a pedestrian became trapped following a collision with a car.

The incident in the town's Emma Street was reported to control at 9.41am this morning (20 January 2015) and two appliances from Blairgowrie responded.

Following the collision the female had become trapped between the pavement and the vehicle and crews used chocks and blocks to stabilise the vehicle and free the casualty.

Firefighters worked closely with their colleagues at the Scottish Ambulance Service who subsequently provided treatment to the casualty.
