Fire crews help free man trapped under car at Ballindalloch

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident in Ballindalloch yesterday involving a car which had slipped from a jack and dropped onto a man who was working underneath the vehicle.

The incident was reported to control at 5.08pm on Sunday (24 August 2014) and appliances from Tomintoul and Dufftown attended.

Crews used airbags, chocks and blocks to lift the vehicle and helped air ambulance paramedics stabilise the casualty before he was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
