SFRS responded to road traffic collision in Caithness last night

Crews from Dunbeath, Wick and Lybster attended the incident

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to attend a road traffic collision at Clyth Mains, Caithness last night (25 June 2014).

The call was received by control at 9.12pm and three appliances, one from Dunbeath, one from Lybster and an appliance from Wick were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival crews were faced with a two vehicle collision involving a car and a tractor. Firefighters stabilised the vehicles and used hydraulic cutting gear to remove three casualties.

Two males and female were then transferred to hospital by ambulance for treatment, one of them by air to Raigmore in Inverness.
