Crews removed the female occupant using a ladder

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rescued a woman from a house fire in the Spittal area of Aberdeen this afternoon.

The incident was reported to control at around 3.35pm. Two appliances from North Anderson Drive and two from Central Fire Station attended.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire. They also rescued a woman from a window using a ladder. She was subsequently treated for smoke inhalation and placed in the care of paramedics.
