At around 9.11pm last night (26 May 2014) Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to deal with a fire at a large shed at a farm in Muthill, Perthshire.

Five appliances were sent to the scene of the fire which was located within a large shed, measuring 100m x 20m.

Two pumps from Crieff, two from Auchterarder and one from Perth were sent to the farm at Muthill, between Crieff and Auchterarder.

There were vehicles within the wooden building and firefighters had to remove cylinders from the property and cool them down. Crews used three main jets to extinguish the fire.

Following the damping down operation crews used a thermal imaging camera to check for further hot spots and the last appliance left the scene at 11.54pm.
