Rush hour car fire in Inverness

The vehicle was well alight on the B9006 at the Inshes fly-over

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called out to deal with a car on fire on the fly-over at Inshes in Inverness yesterday (22 April 2014).

The incident was reported to control at 5.05pm and one appliance attended from Inverness.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire. No one was injured during the incident.

The incident happened during rush hour in the Highland capital on the B9006 Culloden road.
