SFRS dealt with a fire at a property in Gardenstown at weekend

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to respond to reports of a fire at a property in Gardenstown, Aberdeenshire at the weekend.

The incident, which happened at Troop House, was reported to Aberdeen control at 1.50am on Saturday 22 February.

The fire was located in a mobile office at the premises and was well alight when crews arrived.

Appliances from Banff, Macduff and Fraserburgh were joined by a water carrier at the scene.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used three main jets, one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.

The last appliance left the scene at around 7.10am. A joint fire and police investigation into the incident took place later that day.
