Firefighters extinguish car blaze in Aberdeen

An appliance from North Anderson Drive attended the call in the early hours

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident involving a car on fire at Hazlehead Park in the early hours of this morning.

The incident was reported to control at around 3.18am and one appliance was sent from North Anderson Drive.

The vehicle was well alight when the crew arrived and firefighters used one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire which was out by 3.30am.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and Police Scotland were also in attendance.
