SFRS remain at scene of road traffic collision on A96 at Huntly

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to attend the scene of a three vehicle road traffic collision on the A96 involving two cars and an HGV.

Appliances from Dufftown, Aberchirder and Huntly attended the incident on the by-pass at Huntly around 2.22pm today (19 December 2013).

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free two people from one of the cars and they were placed in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

One crew remains at the scene. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
