Two casualties require hospital treatment after a collision on A9

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Operations Control Maddiston received a call just before 6.30pm on Saturday 27th July from Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service to assist at a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A9 between Torwood and Plean.

Crews from Stirling and Larbert were quickly mobilised and on arrival used specialist hydraulic cutting equipment to extricate two female casualties safely from the vehicles.

Both casualties were transferred by ambulance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for further treatment with one casualty suffering from suspected pelvic injuries.
